GOLDEN RULE BAHAMAS A MAJOR SUCCESS

On February 15, 2015 the Golden Rule reformation hit the Bahamas. The recipients of this well-earned award were some of the top leaders in the different segments of the Bohemian system. These leaders have exemplified the Golden Rule in their market place. They have made their community a better place.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers challenged these leaders to make their nation a Golden Rule Nation. Rivers said, “I have never seen so much enthusiasm from the leaders of a nation to make this Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated’, work within their nation. Every life in every nation is priceless. I am truly humbled and happy to welcome these fellow Ambassadors of the Golden Rule to our global community.”

Ambassador Rivers went on to thank Dr. Kevin Storr for his excellent job as Master of Ceremonies for this event in the Bahamas.

ICHANGE NATIONS AND GOLDEN RULE A SUCCESS IN EL SALVADOR

President and Founder of IChange Nations, Dr. Clyde Rivers, acknowledged the IChange Nations and Golden Rule Award Ceremony in El Salvador as a monumental success. On February 15, 2015, Dr. Jenny Lopez, a Representative for IChange Nations in the country of El Salvador had the privilege of presenting the Former First Lady of El Salvador, Vanda Pignato, with the IChange Nations Global Leadership Award and the Golden Rule International Award. She was honored for her tireless effort in protecting women’s rights in the Republic of El Salvador.  

Dr. Jenny Lopez said, “I have never been in any event this prestigious in my life. The Former First Lady of El Salvador, Vanda Pignato, is worthy of these awards. Her life actions speak louder than her words.”

Dr. Lopez also took the Golden Rule to the Trinity Broadcasting Network in El Salvador. She shared with the nation the importance of everyone living the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “In the days ahead world, be watching the country of El Salvador. This will become a nation where the Golden Rule is the guiding principle of the country.”

DR. CLYDE RIVERS RECEIVES AWARD FROM HAITI

Leconte University presented Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers with an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership in Humanities. The Library of Congress Haiti recognizes Leconte University and it is the first private university in the history of the Republic of Haiti to present this award for tireless effort to bring peace to the world.

The citation given to Dr. Rivers stated in part, “Your belief in ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’  - the Golden Rule, incorporates a belief system that sees no bounds, only ardent activity guided by the grace of God. Through this ideology, you have created a multi-cultural faith based initiative to resolve issues and concerns worldwide… As a World Peace Ambassador your commitment to promote unity and understanding, allows you to surpass obstacles be they culturally, racially or religiously inspired. Universite Leconte D’Haiti welcomes a partnership to utilize your leadership and administrative gifts to collaborate in the restoration of its prominence to the pursuit of education, social and economic development for the people of Haiti. Your vision has brought back the lost art of honor, which has earned you the respect as a distinguished leader among Heads of State, former Presidents, Clergy, Dignitaries and Universities worldwide.”

Ambassador Rivers said, “It speaks volumes to be honored by a non-religious university for trying to bring unity to the people of the world. Every individual born is valuable to the world and especially valuable to God. So we must protect the image of God in every individual born in this world.”

AMBASSADOR DR. CLYDE RIVERS VISITS TOP UNIVERSITY

Ambassador Clyde Rivers, the Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi Africa, spoke to the student body of Prairie View A & M University in Prairie View Texas on November 2014.

Prairie View A & M University is a historical black college in the United States and Ambassador Rivers felt it was a monumental day and an honor to speak to the student body and the facility of this prestigious institution. He spoke on human rights and fundamental freedoms for the people of the world.

Ambassador Rivers was quoted saying, “It is very important that the young people of the world understand we have a responsibility to protect the rights and freedoms of every individual born in the world. The guiding principle that makes human rights work is to live the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’”

Ambassador Rivers went on to say of Dr. George Wright the President of A & M; “In my opinion he is one of the elite presidents of an education institution in the world today. Prairie View A & M University is thriving under his leadership and producing top graduates in all fields. It was an impressive day for me as I visited this outstanding institution.”

DR. CLYDE RIVERS VISITS THE AFRICAN UNION

In Addis Ababa Ethiopia on January 10, 2015, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers had the privilege of visiting the African Union and meeting with several of the leaders.

Ambassador Rivers said, “It was a great opportunity for me to watch the leadership of the Continent of Africa solve the issues of this expansive continent. I saw their skilled leadership creating a brighter future for the next generation. This new leadership model understands the issues of the African and how to connect with other nations of the world. This appears to be Africa’s time to develop itself and become a major player in the global community.”

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 19, 2015, thousands of people from different ethnic groups and cultures assembled in San Francisco, CA. to keep the dream alive.

Ambassador Rivers was at this event and was quoted saying, “Watching the young, old, and every nationality and race all marching together for peace and civil rights was a great day in the United States. We have more things that unite us than divide us. This march exemplifies this point. To see the kindness and generosity of all the different people marching showed me that the Golden Rule, ‘Treat other the way you want to be treated,’ is alive and well in the United States. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we will keep your dream alive.”
