At the IChange Nations™ Honor Event April 23, 2016 on Capitol Hill, Dr. Jenny Lopez, Founder of Women Add Value Global Movement launched her “Men of Courage Award.” This award is significant to the Women Add Value Movement because Dr. Jenny recognizes the value of men that allow women to flourish and influence the world around them. Because of her passion for women she felt it appropriate to find and honor men courageous enough to encourage women to seek out their purpose and passion. Dr. Clyde Rivers was the first recipient of this award and four others followed this award launch.

Dr. Clyde Rivers, said, “The Women Add Value Movement that Dr. Jenny is taking to the world is having a great impact everywhere she travels. It is an honor to be the first recipient of this Men of Courage Award. The Culture of Honor is spreading to the world and touching many because of people like Dr. Jenny Lopez. Thank you Dr. Jenny.”

ON CAPITOL HILL ICHANGE NATIONS™ LAUNCHED CHALLENGED CHAMPIONS AND HEROES INITIATIVE

The Challenged Champions and Heroes (CC&H) is an IChange Nations™ initiative started by Dr. Robin Lococo and Dr. Penny Heflebower. They have a heart to reframe mindsets regarding individuals with disabilities. CC&H are looking at the challenges so many people deal with and desire to award these individuals for being over comers. Their movement has a two-prong approach; first to find and honor challenged individuals and secondly, to find and honor individuals and organizations that work with and support the efforts of challenged individuals.

On April 23rd, 2016 on Capitol Hill, Challenged Champions and Heroes launched their initiative and were able to award several individuals that are helping challenged people in their sphere of influence. Dr. Ruth Mizell was one of the recipients. At over 90 years of age Dr. Ruth has touch many lives. She is a great example and worthy of this honor she was awarded.

Dr. Clyde Rivers, said, “I am happy to have Challenged Champions and Heroes as a part of our IChange Nations™ Culture of Honor. I appreciate the desire and passion of these two ladies to find and honor these courageous individuals. It was great to have the ability to launch their initiative on this global platform.”

INDIVIDUALS FROM FIFTY NATIONS RECEIVE HONOR ON CAPITOL HILL


On April 23rd, 2016 we witnessed an overwhelming representation of well deserving individuals from fifty nations of the world. These hardworking, leading world-changers came in response to the opportunity to be honored by IChange Nations™ the World’s Largest Honoring Network Establishing Cultures of Honor around the world and by Golden Rule International. This is ICN/GR’s largest gathering to date as they work to unify divers cultures through the Culture of Honor.

In search of people deserving of honor at global, national, state and community levels, ICN Alumni and Golden Rule International Ambassadors out did themselves in this, by invitation only, event. Quality individuals, that have made positive contributions in helping mankind, came from all over the globe to Capitol Hill, Washington DC and received honor in the presence of their peers from around the world.

Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, Founder and President of IChange Nations™ commented, “It is always such a humbling experience to be in the presence of great men and women, hardworking leaders, doing good things to help mankind. DR. ASTELL COLLINS OF GUYANA OFFICIALLY APPOINTED A GLOBAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE INTERFAITH PEACE-BUILDING INITIATIVE- CARIBBEAN

Dr. Astell Collins of Guyana has been official appointed to the position of Global Representative for the Golden Rule International and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative by Ambassador Clyde Rivers. Dr. Collins has openly shown his care for humanity around the world. His influence as a strategic and intentional leader has impacted lives by promoting the spirit of humanity and unity. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity in his nation and has led an initiative to improve housing for the elderly, single parents and the differently-abled. Ambassador Rivers said, “Dr. Collins is a man of integrity that lives a lifestyle that exemplifies the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ He believes every life is valuable and created for a purpose and contribution to our world. It is a great honor to have him as a Representative of our World Peace Initiative because he will represent our movement well across the globe.”

LORETTA HOAGLAND RECEIVES GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

In January 2016 the Youth Add Value™ Initiative in conjunction with IChange Nations™ organized and launched the first event of its kind in Newport Oregon “Youth Give Back.” Loretta Hoagland received the Golden Rule International Award. Amb. Clyde Rivers presented this well deserved Award to Loretta Hoagland.  The motto of the Golden Rule International Award is, “Treat others the way you want to be treated” and Loretta Hoagland’s life as exemplified this life style.

Mrs. Hoagland has lived in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and England as well as several major cities in the United States. She volunteered heavily wherever there was a need, whether in the schools, hospitals, the Boy Scouts or refugee camps. In Thailand she taught English to refugees fleeing the "Killing Fields." She has done her share of community service in her current Depot Bay community, helping youth at risk by creating after school programs. Ambassador Rivers said, "It is such an honor to have the privilege of bringing recognition to individuals like Loretta Hoagland. She is truly an Ambassador, living the Golden Rule. Thank you Mrs. Hoagland and welcome to our global family."

Ambassador Rivers’ message at this event was a change of conversation. He spoke of the worlds need to value the gifts from God in every individual. He stated, “We lose everything when a person looses his or her life. It’s a tragic lose for the world and we suffer the lack of that contribution. That gift will never enter into our existence. We must work to preserve every individual in the world because their gifts are necessary for our world to develop and be great.”

THE CULTURE OF HONOR AND GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL GOES TO THE ISLAND OF GRENADA

The beautiful island of Grenada experienced the Culture of Honor when Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative Representative, Dr. Charles Karuku and Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador Dr. Eric Melwani, bestowed the Golden Rule International Award upon Hon. Winston Garraway. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated” and Hon. Garraway’s life has been lived to help others.

Hon. Winston Garraway is the Minister of State, Minister of Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs and National Disaster Management Agency for Grenada. He has served his people in building outstanding leaders of all ages and promoting global opportunities in sports for the youth of Grenada. He truly cares about humanity and exemplifies the Golden Rule ethic. For this reason IChange Nations™, Golden Rule International and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative were compelled to honor this man.

Ambassador Rivers commented, “Hon. Garraway caught our attention because of his amazing work to help the people of Grenada, young and old. He represents this global peace ethic well and we are happy to have him join our global Golden Rule Ambassador Alumni. It was an honor to have two of our finest World Peace Ambassadors make this presentation. Together we will continue to spread the message of the Golden Rule and the value of every life and its contribution to the world.”

HONOR AFRICA BRINGS GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL TO DELAWARE

Live this February 2016; World Peace Ambassador Clyde Rivers brought the Culture of Honor and Honor Africa to Delaware, the First State of our Union. The Golden Rule message is “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” There was a phenomenal turnout of community and state level leaders that have given honor and respect to the people of Delaware. Many of which were awarded this prestigious Golden Rule International Award. These individuals joined the many influential alumni around the world.

As Ambassador Clyde Rivers’ addressed this esteemed audience he stated, “Every life is a gift from God and it’s very important that we preserve the gifts in individuals. That is what nations, societies and communities of the world can be built upon.” In his closing statement he reiterated, “Every life is valuable because of the gift within that life that is to bring a contribution to this world.”
