The Golden Rule Award is given to top leaders, organizations and humanitarians that live the life of the Golden Rule, which is, to treat others the way you want to be treated.
This Award has been given to Desmond Tutu, the President of Burundi, and the Patron of the organization which is the current President of
Ethiopia; Girma Woldegiorgis.

Amb. Mussie Hailu is the Board Chairman of the Interfaith Peace-Building
Initiative and the Founder of the Gold Rule Award. He has established April 5th as the Golden Rule Day around the World. As of today, there 120 nations that recognize the Golden Rule Day.

The Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative organization has just appointed Prof. Clyde Rivers as their official representative to the United Nations of New York. Our big push is to establish the Golden Rule Day as an official day recognized by the United Nations.

The goal of the Golden Rule Day is to have no more religious violence in our
nations of the world. As we teach different faiths how to work together for the benefit of their communities.
If we all live the Gold Rule, which is to treat others the way you want to be treated. We can change the world.

Former Vice President Candidate in 2012 for the American Independent Party Dr. Robert Ornelas has been chosen as a candidate for the Golden Rule Award. He is a youth activist that has reached over 50,000 youth from diverse cultures around the world. Prof. Clyde Rivers calls him “the greatest multi-cultural activist in the United States of America”.
