Dr.
Elizabeth Hairston was the recipient of the Golden Rule International Award in
Seattle Washington in September of 2015. She was awarded this global award
because of her ministry to mankind through the gift of the art of dance. Her
gift has brought peace and encouragement to countless others promoting and instructing
that there is a gift in each one created that needs to come forth to benefit
mankind.
In
an interview with her we discovered her vast knowledge and heart for
interpretative dance. She began her journey of sharing her gift to the world at
a very young age. In the process of her travels and vast experience her passion
for dance became an expression of her apostolic and prophetic calling to the
world. She has shared her dance on may platforms in many nations including but
not limited to, India, Japan, Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, East Africa, Europe and
South America. She has established schools to train young artists in dance
along her life journey and continues to spread the positive influence of the
arts on nations, societies and communities globally. She is an author of
several books related to her passion, one being ‘Go Forth and Dance.’ She is currently based in New Mexico, USA
where she and her husband continue to move out in her global expression of the
art of dance as well as establishing Bible Schools and planting churches on the
Native American Reservations.
