In February 2016, Ambassador and Founder of Golden Rule International Mussie Hailu and Golden Rule Representative Ambassador Clyde Rivers had the honor of meeting with several influential individuals in Kenya. Several of these individuals were honored with the Golden Rule International Award for their outstanding life model of,
“Treating others the way they want to be treated.” Humanity has benefited by the actions and kindness of these individuals.

Ambassador Mussie Hailu and Ambassador Clyde Rivers are working together around the world to move the Golden Rule Honorary System faster this year. They are in agreement that the world is in desperate need of this new global peace ethic. Finding individuals, organizations and movements that are propagating the Golden Rule is of paramount importance to spreading this message and continuing to establish the Culture of Honor globally. It is important to spread the word that mankind being allowed to contribute their God given potential will make our world a better place. Every life is valuable and created for a purpose and contribution to our world. The world loses when a life is not valued and someone dies and their contribution dies with them.

THE GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD GOES TO CHIEF OF POLICE DAVID ENYEART

Chief of Police for Toledo Oregon, Chief David Enyeart, received the prestigious global Golden Rule International Award in January 2016 in Newport Oregon The event planned and organized by Youth Add Value™ in conjunction with IChange Nations™ and the Golden Rule International Award Systems. Chief Enyeart is highly motivated to leverage 17 years of achievements in law enforcement and 37 years in the Oregon National Guard to provide dedicated service to the state and federal governments. Chief Enyeart has a Master in Strategic Studies and a BS in Psychology.

MG Enyeart had three combat deployments, two to Afghanistan and one Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was honored with the Defense Superior Service Medal and Legion of Merit for superior performance; two Bronze Star Medal’s for actions during combat operations, three Meritorious Service Medal, and four Army Commendation Medal for superior performance in a variety positions.  Awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, for excellent execution of a joint mission with the Air Force, and a Combat Infantry Badge for heroic actions under fire. He now uses his vast experience to better the community he is serving. Ambassador Rivers commented, “This highly decorated man, Chief Enyeart, is living a life that exemplifies the Golden Rule ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ We are fortunate to have a man of his caliber as one of our World Peace Ambassador and the city of Toledo should be proud to have him serving their community. Youth Add Value™ is a movement manned by a group of youth highly trained by IChange Nation’s™ executive, Dr. Michal Pitzl. They have a vision to, not only give back to people that have deposited into lives, but also to find and train other youth to continue to move their initiative forward. Marisa Dean, together with her team, Josh Bennett, Khalil Burton and Marshal Dean organized and launched their first event in Newport Oregon.

JADEE JONES IS HONORED FOR VALUING LIFE AND RECEIVES GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

November 2015 on Capital Hill Washington DC, Jadee Jones received the Golden Rule International Award - World Peace Ambassador for living a life that exemplifies the motto of the Golden Rule International, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Jadee has exemplified the Golden Rule through his dedicated lifestyle of imputing into many young lives. As an athlete himself he has done this through sports programs that are teaching athletic skills and providing a safe positive environment for kids. He knows the value of this environment for good character growth of young people. Jones also actively works as a Cultural Advocate bridging the gap between minority families and the school system. He supervises in the classroom, consults and meets with students and parents as well as monitors their grades and achievements. He actively puts his life into the belief system that every life is valuable and is created for a contribution to our world.

Ambassador Rivers commented, “Jadee is one of those unique individuals that gives of his heart and life for others. He has earned the title of Good Will Peace Ambassador for the Golden Rule International and we are happy to have him represent us globally.”

In this prestigious atmosphere and on this prominent platform we continued to establish Cultures of Honor that will go around the globe as each individual receiving the Golden Rule International Award takes the message and movement back to their nations. GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD WINNER BRINGS PEACE GLOBALLY THROUGH THE ARTS

Dr. Elizabeth Hairston was the recipient of the Golden Rule International Award in Seattle Washington in September of 2015. She was awarded this global award because of her ministry to mankind through the gift of the art of dance. Her gift has brought peace and encouragement to countless others promoting and instructing that there is a gift in each one created that needs to come forth to benefit mankind.

In an interview with her we discovered her vast knowledge and heart for interpretative dance. She began her journey of sharing her gift to the world at a very young age. In the process of her travels and vast experience her passion for dance became an expression of her apostolic and prophetic calling to the world. She has shared her dance on may platforms in many nations including but not limited to, India, Japan, Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, East Africa, Europe and South America. She has established schools to train young artists in dance along her life journey and continues to spread the positive influence of the arts on nations, societies and communities globally. She is an author of several books related to her passion, one being ‘Go Forth and Dance.’ She is currently based in New Mexico, USA where she and her husband continue to move out in her global expression of the art of dance as well as establishing Bible Schools and planting churches on the Native American Reservations.

Ambassador Rivers commented, “Dr. Elizabeth is an inspiration to any that would be moved in the arts to help change the world. Her life is a testimony of beautiful expression and passion for her God-given gifts. We welcome her to our Golden Rule International global community.”

PENNSYLVANIA EXPERIENCES THE GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL CULTURE OF HONOR

Dr. Joseph Green, Golden Rule Ambassador, assembled leading men and women in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2015. These men and women are leaders in Pennsylvania that are making a difference for humanity. This event brought the lost art of honor to the Harrisburg community with the Golden Rule International Award, “Treat other the way you want to be treated.”

Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “It is always a good thing to experience the gathering of people from different religions and diverse cultures on a common platform for helping humanity. We need more events like this that establish unity within a diverse community. This was a outstanding event and we will continue to establish a culture of honor everywhere we are able to bring the Golden Rule International Award system of honor – celebrating people helping people.”

Hollywood Humanitarian Voice had their first Golden Rule Event this September at the Walt Disney Studios in Los Angeles California. Leading movie producers, writers, actors and actresses were honored for their personal humanitarian work in and through the entertainment arena.

Tim Sweeney and Debra Denase, Global Advisors for Hollywood Humanitarian Voice put together a great host of people working in the industry who chose to exemplify the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” The plan is to hold a Golden Rule Event in Hollywood every threes months to continue to honor various winners of the Golden Rule International Award and propagate a true culture of honor coming out of Hollywood. Ambassador Clyde Rivers is quoted saying, “We will continue to create an honor system in Hollywood for the great humanitarians working in the entertainment world.”

His Eminence Dr. Jonathan Ansar, Metropolitan Arch Bishop of the National Church of India was recently appointed an Official Global Liaison for Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative – India. Dr. Ansar works with the All India Christian United Front and is dedicated to the Golden Rule Guiding Principle; “Treat others the way you want to be treated” and establishing Cultures of Honor in India and around the world.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers, the Representative for the North American Division to the United Nations – New York said, “This amazing man is working to bring peace and unity to the country of India. We agree that every person born in India is valuable because they were created for a contribution to help the world. It is our privilege to work with Dr. Jonathan Ansar to bring the Golden Rule International to India and establish a Culture of Honor in India. We desire that every person in India would understand their value in the world.”

THE COMMUNITY OF LIVINGSTON CALIFORNIA WORKING TOGETHER TO ESTABLISHED THE CULTURE OF HONOR

On May 15th, 2015 the community of Livingston, California was introduced to the Culture of Honor with the Golden Rule International Award and iChange Nations Community Ambassador Award. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers presented the awards and Drs. Sonny and Linda Lara hosted the event. Golden Rule International Awards and iChange Nations Community Ambassador Awards were presented to several outstanding Livingston community leaders that are living the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated” and working to help their community.

Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers is the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award and the President and Founder of iChange Nations. Ambassador Rivers is committed to bringing back the Lost Art of Honor and everywhere he travels he purposes to give honor and acknowledge the greatness in mankind. The result, the culture of honor is built and sustainable.


This event was an example of how honor crosses over borders and belief systems and levels the playing field in communication, commonality of purpose and sense of community. Livingston is changing lives and honoring their citizens. Livingston is fast becoming an example of a community exemplifying a true Culture of Honor in California.

The message of Human Rights around the world is seeing a new day. As treatment of mankind becomes worse the Human Rights Global Congress is creating a different philosophy in which to address these issues. We believe every individual is created with a contribution to be added to this world. Anytime there are violations of our Human Rights the world misses out on the potential of the one that has suffered.

2015 GOLDEN RULE AWARD INTERNATIONAL EVENT IN GRAND RAPIDS MICHIGAN A MAJOR SUCCESS

In the spring of 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan over a hundred men and women working to better humanity globally were celebrated. The ceremony took place at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library with the awards being presented by Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers the Representative to the United Nations for the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, North American Division - New York. Golden Rule International is affiliated with the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative Organization, Department of Public Information of United Nations.  

The assembly hosted a vast representation of Human Rights Organizations Entrepreneurs and Politicians. Each individual in attendance denotes leadership that spans the scope from Environmental to Spiritual leadership. Each doing their part and committed to one cause, ‘treating others the way you want to be treated’ – the Golden Rule.


Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “There is great hope for the world as this message spreads to every tribe and people group around the world bringing unity from the platform of this Global Ethic – The Golden Rule.”

DR. GORDON BRADSHAW RECEIVES THE GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD AT THE GERALD R. FORD PRESIDENTAL LIBRARY

On April 17, 2015 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented Dr. Bradshaw with the highly esteemed Golden Rule International Award.

Dr. Gordon Bradshaw has served his community for over 42 years. He served in the Public Safety/Government sector and the Faith-Based community. He is also the Founder of the 3M Project Global Initiative and is a member of the Kingdom Congressional International Alliance, where he serves as the Vice President of the organization.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “Dr. Bradshaw is an exemplary model of leadership. The legacy he will leave to the next generation is that of service to humanity. We at the Golden Rule International are extremely pleased to appoint Dr. Gordon Bradshaw a Goodwill Ambassadorship for the Golden Rule International and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative.”

CHARLES HUGHES RECOGNIZED GLOBALLY FOR HIS SERVICE TO EMPOWER COMMUNITIES

Charles Hughes is the Executive Director of the Gary, Indiana Chamber of Commerce. His life of service to the City of Gary, Indiana has brought global recognition. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented Charles Hughes with the prestigious Golden Rule International Award. He was appointed as a Goodwill Peace Ambassador for Golden Rule International at a ceremony held on April 17, 2015 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Charles Hughes serves his community at multiple levels. As a fireman for 34 years, reaching the rank of Battalion Chief, he has been recognized for creating a strong relationship between the department and the community. Mr. Hughes also served for 16 years as a member of the Gary, Indiana City Council, with two of his terms served as the President of the Council. His success also enabled him to serve as the Education Chairman for the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. Hughes continued his dedication to service as the Chairman of the Committee of National League of Cities, Public Safety and Crime Prevention. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “These accomplishments prove to the world that he is qualified to serve as a Goodwill Peace Ambassador for the Golden Rule and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative. We are honored to have Charles Hughes serve with us globally.”

GOLDEN RULE BAHAMAS A MAJOR SUCCESS

On February 15, 2015 the Golden Rule reformation hit the Bahamas. The recipients of this well-earned award were some of the top leaders in the different segments of the Bohemian system. These leaders have exemplified the Golden Rule in their market place. They have made their community a better place.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers challenged these leaders to make their nation a Golden Rule Nation. Rivers said, “I have never seen so much enthusiasm from the leaders of a nation to make this Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated’, work within their nation. Every life in every nation is priceless. I am truly humbled and happy to welcome these fellow Ambassadors of the Golden Rule to our global community.”

Ambassador Rivers went on to thank Dr. Kevin Storr for his excellent job as Master of Ceremonies for this event in the Bahamas.

DR. CLYDE RIVERS RECEIVES AWARD FROM HAITI

Leconte University presented Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers with an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership in Humanities. The Library of Congress Haiti recognizes Leconte University and it is the first private university in the history of the Republic of Haiti to present this award for tireless effort to bring peace to the world.

The citation given to Dr. Rivers stated in part, “Your belief in ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’  - the Golden Rule, incorporates a belief system that sees no bounds, only ardent activity guided by the grace of God. Through this ideology, you have created a multi-cultural faith based initiative to resolve issues and concerns worldwide… As a World Peace Ambassador your commitment to promote unity and understanding, allows you to surpass obstacles be they culturally, racially or religiously inspired. Universite Leconte D’Haiti welcomes a partnership to utilize your leadership and administrative gifts to collaborate in the restoration of its prominence to the pursuit of education, social and economic development for the people of Haiti. Your vision has brought back the lost art of honor, which has earned you the respect as a distinguished leader among Heads of State, former Presidents, Clergy, Dignitaries and Universities worldwide.”

Ambassador Rivers said, “It speaks volumes to be honored by a non-religious university for trying to bring unity to the people of the world. Every individual born is valuable to the world and especially valuable to God. So we must protect the image of God in every individual born in this world.”

In San Jose, California on October 18, 2014, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers was surprised and honored by the presentation of the Martin Luther King Legacy of Peace Award.  The President of the Martin Luther King Foundation, of the Santa Clarita Valley, Kathleen Flynn and the Mayor of San Jose, Chuck Reed and other respected officials, presented the award to Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers.

The Martin Luther King Foundation has been active in the Santa Clarita Valley for well over 30 years. Every year this organization chooses to honor the top mountain movers whose lives are representative of the great work Dr. Martin Luther King accomplished in his life, Civil Rights Laws in the United States of America. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “I’m very humbled by the Legacy of Peace Award from the pioneer of peace, Dr. Martin Luther King through this prestigious foundation.”


There is great work being accomplished by Ambassador Rivers and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, Golden Rule International Award, as well as Dr. Clyde Rivers’ organization, iChange Nations. Together they are in over 120 nations of the world proclaiming the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers went on the say, “I believe this Global Ethic can change the world. The work of iChange Nations, dedicated to bringing back the lost art of honor around the world, along with the Golden Rule International Award, are the key to global transformation - working to keep peace alive.”
