In Grand Rapids Michigan at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library in August 2015, Golden Rule Award International and iChange Nations presented Golden Rule Awards to several outstanding recipients. The Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” is an award presented to those whose lives have exemplified this motto. There were several nations represented and once again a global community of peace and honor  is established.

In San Jose, California on October 18, 2014, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers was surprised and honored by the presentation of the Martin Luther King Legacy of Peace Award.  The President of the Martin Luther King Foundation, of the Santa Clarita Valley, Kathleen Flynn and the Mayor of San Jose, Chuck Reed and other respected officials, presented the award to Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers.

The Martin Luther King Foundation has been active in the Santa Clarita Valley for well over 30 years. Every year this organization chooses to honor the top mountain movers whose lives are representative of the great work Dr. Martin Luther King accomplished in his life, Civil Rights Laws in the United States of America. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “I’m very humbled by the Legacy of Peace Award from the pioneer of peace, Dr. Martin Luther King through this prestigious foundation.”

There is great work being accomplished by Ambassador Rivers and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, Golden Rule International Award, as well as Dr. Clyde Rivers’ organization, iChange Nations. We at the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiatives (IPI) Golden Rule International Awards Presentation, at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, are extremely honored to gather top humanitarians from all over the world. In 120 nations we are in the process of establishing April 5^th as the Golden Rule Day International. This is a day in which there is no violence in the name of religion or culture in the world. We are pursuing this as a Resolution at the United Nations.

It gives me great honor to present Harrypersad Maharaj, the President of the Inter-Religious Organization of Trinidad and Tobago. This is the only country I have ever been to that has harmony among their religions and cultures. Harrypersad Maharaj has been a champion voice for peace within Trinidad and Tobago. His great leadership is now being recognized globally.

As well as the presentation of the Golden Rule International Award, the President and Founder of iChange Nations, Ambassador Clyde Rivers surprised Harrypersad Maharaj with the iChange Nations Global Leadership Award, for his work to unify the different cultures in Trinidad and Tobago and around the world. Ambassador Clyde Rivers said of Harrypersad Maharaj, “He will be known in the nations of the world as a man of peace. This will be his legacy to mankind.” Two of the past recipients of this award are, the President of the Taino Nation, Robert Mukaro and the President of the Cherokee Indian Nation, Bill Baker. These are two of many great men and women recipients. To see unity and diversity celebrated at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library is a great day for the world. President Ford was a man that believed in unity and diversity so it is not by chance that we are at this Presidential Museum presenting these honors to our great global leaders.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers, the North American Division Leader for the Golden Rule International and the Representative to the United Nations, New York for Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, awarded Congressman Jim Beall the prestigious Golden Rule International Award. The ceremony was conducted on June 8^th, 2014 at the Star of David Ministry in San Jose, California.

An advocate for world peace, Dr. Clyde Rivers was asked to throw the first pitch at the High Desert Mavericks baseball game last week. Rivers commented, “It was such an honor to be asked to throw the first pitch at this baseball game. I believe every time I have the opportunity to do something like this I am able to promote world peace and the Golden Rule. It’s good to be heard and have the ability to explain that the Golden Rule, as a global ethic, is the only way we can change the world. ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ With heartfelt gratitude I would like to thank the High Desert Mavericks Minor-League Baseball Team for giving me this opportunity.”

This school is producing graduates from high school at the age of 14 and 15 years of age because for their high standards. On October 9, 2013 in Los Angeles. CA, Dr. Clyde Rivers presented the Golden Rule Award International to Dr. Pierre Tigerino, son of Dr. Manuel Tigerino. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Dr. Pierre Tigerino has worked as a peace activist to promote peace amongst the Latino and the African American communities in Los Angeles for several years.

Golden Rule Award International is the Solution to World Peace

Ambassador Clyde Rivers speaks about the solution to world peace. He is quoted saying, “There are several issues facing the world today. There are wars, famines, and injustices taking place all over the globe. We are in a catastrophic global decline.

The global community is searching for solutions. Many of the solutions they are looking for would cost billions of dollars that the global community does not possess. What do we do when we can’t buy our way out of a problem?

There is only one solution that can solve these horrendous global issues and it does not have to do with money but with human character – living the Golden Rule. Teaching people to treat others the way they want to be treated would make the most significant change we could imagine. Think about a businessman that wants to treat others they way he would like to be treated? What about the creators of vaccinations that heal the sick? Having the honest desire to see their creation released on the world to bring healing, just like they would want to have help in their own personal wellness. What if leadership around the world would treat those they lead like they would want to be treated? Can you envision the world if we treated others the way we want to be treated? It would be a much better place for mankind. Humanity does not have to agree on everything – just agree to apply the Golden Rule. As the old adage says, “Agree to disagree.”

The Golden Rule is a policy from the Bible and is stated in some form in every religious culture in the world. Encouraging other cultures to live by the policy of treating others the way you want to be treated would bring global change. I plan to continue to bring this new global ethnic and work to change the world.”

On September 14, 2013 in North Miami, Dr. Clyde Rivers presented the Golden Rule Award International to Representative Daphne Campbell, the State of Florida Representative for the 108^th District. She received this prestigious award for her willingness to proclaim the Golden Rule to the citizens of North Miami Day County. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

On September 14, 2013 Dr. Clyde Rivers receives award from House of Representatives – Florida. Representative Daphne Campbell is the State of Florida Representative for the 108^th District. She presented a prestigious tribute to Dr. Rivers for his work as a World Peace Ambassador and Global Educator.

Dr. Rivers was quoted saying, “It is such an honor to be recognized by the State of Florida and it’s great people for the work I do around the world. As a World Peace Ambassador it is my conviction that every individual in the world should have the right to live in peace. I believe I’ve been given the mandate of honoring and encouraging this right around the world. I am dedicated to advocating peace globally. Thank you Representative Campbell for recognizing our peace efforts around the world”

Dr. Clyde Rivers To Teach God and Government Globally

One of the world’s largest video Bible schools in the world, International School of Ministry (ISOM), founded by Dr. Berin Gilfillan gave Dr. Clyde Rivers the opportunity to teach God and Government for this organization. His teaching will reach over 15,000 ISOM Bible Schools in over 149 nations and will be translated into 69 different languages. It is a great honor to be selected to be an instructor for ISOM reserved for those with a strong message of God to the world. September 17, 2013 is a day to remember.

Dr. Rivers said, “It is a great honor to have God open this door that is giving us the ability to teach the world of God’s position in Government. It is a powerful time to be given the opportunity to bring another perspective based on the Constitution of God – bringing the Word of God in a Governmental perspective. Dr. Williams is one of the best businessmen that has a real humanitarian heart to help the world learn how to solve their problems. His company, BC Market Solutions, is teaching people how to do business and how to create solutions for their issues in life.

This is a new global ethic that the leadership of the Golden Rule International Award, Patron, current President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde and Ambassador Mussie Hailu has embraced and is promoting globally. Golden Rule International is also affiliated with the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI), African Union, the United Nations as well as the United Religions Initiative (URI).
