INDIVIDUALS FROM FIFTY NATIONS RECEIVE HONOR ON CAPITOL HILL


On April 23rd, 2016 we witnessed an overwhelming representation of well deserving individuals from fifty nations of the world. These hardworking, leading world-changers came in response to the opportunity to be honored by IChange Nations™ the World’s Largest Honoring Network Establishing Cultures of Honor around the world and by Golden Rule International. This is ICN/GR’s largest gathering to date as they work to unify divers cultures through the Culture of Honor.

In search of people deserving of honor at global, national, state and community levels, ICN Alumni and Golden Rule International Ambassadors out did themselves in this, by invitation only, event. Quality individuals, that have made positive contributions in helping mankind, came from all over the globe to Capitol Hill, Washington DC and received honor in the presence of their peers from around the world.

Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, Founder and President of IChange Nations™ commented, “It is always such a humbling experience to be in the presence of great men and women, hardworking leaders, doing good things to help mankind. Dr. Astell Collins of Guyana has been official appointed to the position of Global Representative for the Golden Rule International and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative by Ambassador Clyde Rivers. Dr. Collins has openly shown his care for humanity around the world. His influence as a strategic and intentional leader has impacted lives by promoting the spirit of humanity and unity. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity in his nation and has led an initiative to improve housing for the elderly, single parents and the differently-abled. Ambassador Rivers said, “Dr. Collins is a man of integrity that lives a lifestyle that exemplifies the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ He believes every life is valuable and created for a purpose and contribution to our world. LORETTA HOAGLAND RECEIVES GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

In January 2016 the Youth Add Value™ Initiative in conjunction with IChange Nations™ organized and launched the first event of its kind in Newport Oregon “Youth Give Back.” Loretta Hoagland received the Golden Rule International Award. Amb. Clyde Rivers presented this well deserved Award to Loretta Hoagland.  The motto of the Golden Rule International Award is, “Treat others the way you want to be treated” and Loretta Hoagland’s life as exemplified this life style.

Mrs. Hoagland has lived in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and England as well as several major cities in the United States. She volunteered heavily wherever there was a need, whether in the schools, hospitals, the Boy Scouts or refugee camps. In Thailand she taught English to refugees fleeing the "Killing Fields." She has done her share of community service in her current Depot Bay community, helping youth at risk by creating after school programs. Ambassador Rivers said, "It is such an honor to have the privilege of bringing recognition to individuals like Loretta Hoagland. She is truly an Ambassador, living the Golden Rule. Thank you Mrs. Hoagland and welcome to our global family."

Ambassador Rivers’ message at this event was a change of conversation. He spoke of the worlds need to value the gifts from God in every individual. He stated, “We lose everything when a person looses his or her life. It’s a tragic lose for the world and we suffer the lack of that contribution. That gift will never enter into our existence. We must work to preserve every individual in the world because their gifts are necessary for our world to develop and be great.”

THE CULTURE OF HONOR AND GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL GOES TO THE ISLAND OF GRENADA

The beautiful island of Grenada experienced the Culture of Honor when Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative Representative, Dr. Charles Karuku and Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador Dr. Eric Melwani, bestowed the Golden Rule International Award upon Hon. Winston Garraway. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated” and Hon. Garraway’s life has been lived to help others.

Hon. Winston Garraway is the Minister of State, Minister of Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs and National Disaster Management Agency for Grenada. He has served his people in building outstanding leaders of all ages and promoting global opportunities in sports for the youth of Grenada. He truly cares about humanity and exemplifies the Golden Rule ethic. For this reason IChange Nations™, Golden Rule International and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative were compelled to honor this man.

Ambassador Rivers commented, “Hon. Garraway caught our attention because of his amazing work to help the people of Grenada, young and old. He represents this global peace ethic well and we are happy to have him join our global Golden Rule Ambassador Alumni. It was an honor to have two of our finest World Peace Ambassadors make this presentation. Together we will continue to spread the message of the Golden Rule and the value of every life and its contribution to the world.”

HONOR AFRICA BRINGS GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL TO DELAWARE

Live this February 2016; World Peace Ambassador Clyde Rivers brought the Culture of Honor and Honor Africa to Delaware, the First State of our Union. The Golden Rule message is “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” There was a phenomenal turnout of community and state level leaders that have given honor and respect to the people of Delaware. Many of which were awarded this prestigious Golden Rule International Award. These individuals joined the many influential alumni around the world.

As Ambassador Clyde Rivers’ addressed this esteemed audience he stated, “Every life is a gift from God and it’s very important that we preserve the gifts in individuals. In Rogers Park Chicago at the Sullivan High School, this February 2016, over 40 top Humanitarians and Activists gathered as World Peace Ambassador Clyde Rivers brought the Culture of Honor to a number of prestigious recipients. These individuals joined the many influential Golden Rule International Alumni around the world. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” These recipients were awarded because their lives are an example of this New Global Peace Policy.

One of the recipients was the renowned South African Freedom Fighter, Gideon Mahlathini Makhanya, who was honored for his tireless efforts to bring peace and freedom to South Africa.

Ambassador Rivers commented, “To find people fighting for humanity is a wonderful happening. I was so honored to be able to bestow on Gideon Makhanya the Global World Peace Ambassadorship with the Golden Rule International Award.” Ambassador Rivers went on to say, “Watching the hearts of these passionate people working to see the Golden Rule come to their city Chicago, was overwhelming.”

CHIEF DUPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY JERRY HUPP IS AWARDED THE GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

In January 2016 in Newport Oregon, Youth Add Value™ Initiative in conjunction with IChange Nations™ and the Golden Rule International hosted an honorary event for Lincoln County award recipients. Chief Deputy District Attorney Jerry Hupp received the Golden Rule International Award. Hupp’s life has steadily represented the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” He has spent the last 15 years of his career seeking justice for victims of sexual crimes and crimes against children.  Chief Deputy Hupp says, “This type of case is very difficult to prove and can be heart-wrenching.” He constantly sees children being victimized by crime at work, and seeing first-hand the effects abuse can have on children. He and his wife recognized there is hope for these children available with some consistent parenting.  It was sobering and spurred he and his wife to become Foster Parents to make a difference in a few young lives.

The heart and life dedication of this man moved Ambassador Clyde Rivers. Rivers said, “It is a privilege to honor this man for his life to help mankind specifically the young. I recognize in him a person that believes that every life is valuable and has been willing to pour his life into others. He truly exemplifies the Golden Rule and we are proud to have him join our vast alumni around the world.”

He understands the value of every human life and exercises honoring that life according to his mandate - witness of the love of God and give a pair of shoes. The two are inseparable in Hayden’s understanding because he’s heard the message of his mission.

Recently Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, President and Founder of IChange Nations™ connected with Mr. Blessing. As Hayden explained his vision and mission, Ambassador Rivers helped open up avenues in which to expand this amazing outreach. While Witness Kicks is already global, through Ambassador Rivers even more opportunity is opening to expand this vision to bring the Good News of God’s love and a new pair of shoes. Representing the understanding that every life is valuable and worthy of honor.

Shabtai Shavit, Former Director of the Mossad of Israel, Vicente Fox, Former President of Mexico and Shankat Azlz, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan stood on a High School stage in Phoenix Arizona this October 2015 and gave inspiration to the next generation. The event was the United Peoria Foundations State of the World Conference and was organized and hosted by Arizona State Representative and Founder of United Peoria Foundations, Tony Rivero.

Ambassador Rivers said, “This was by far a monumental event and a historic day to have the nations of Pakistan, Israel and Mexico represented in such a powerful way on this platform - as friends giving hope to the world. I was honored to be a part of this day. This is the Golden Rule being lived in real life and exemplified through men with integrity that care about our world. Thank you Representative Tony Rivero for organizing this gathering.”

On October 15, 2015 in Phoenix Arizona, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shankat Azlz, Former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox and World Peace Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers met together. All three of these men agreed on one thing, that peace is the most vital ingredient for the world to develop. These three leaders met at the United Peoria Foundations State of the World Conference and Dinner. The event was organized and hosted by Arizona State Representative and Founder of United Peoria Foundations, Tony Rivero.

Ambassador Rivers said, “We experienced an outstanding conference and dinner. When you have leaders giving their life experiences back to the world you are involved in a wonderful thing. These men carry the experience and practical understanding of what it takes to make the world work. It creates dialogue that can help solve the issues of the world. Peace is priceless and I saw the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated,’ promoted at this State of the World Conference.”

GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD GIVEN TO FOUNDER OF A CHICAGO METRO-COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Apostle Dr. Sylvester Brinson III, a newly appointed World Peace Ambassador, was awarded the Golden Rule International Award in Michigan this fall. He is the Founder of Hope Outreach Ministries International Inc. based in Chicago IL. Hope Outreach is a non-profit ministry with divisions in several states in the US and Canada. Their focus is on holistic care, understanding that life’s issues are not just single faceted but often complex. Hope Outreach engages in the arts, physical wellness and mental health care, to name a few. They are also committed to Prison Outreach, Veteran Affairs as well as Marketing and Provision Developing. Much of their work is within the inner city culture. There is a strong focus on education working to equip students through their accredited Bible College and Seminary - Hope Institute - that is also offered inside the prison system. 

Ambassador Rivers commented, “World Peace Ambassador Dr. Brinson is one man, coordinating his efforts with others to create a better world around him. We value his life of living the Golden Rule – treating others the way he would like to be treated. I don’t take this award lightly and will continue to encourage people around the world to value life and strive to discover their God-given potential and contribution to our world.”

THE GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL GOES TO MIAMI FLORIDA’S CELA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

September 2015, CELA International University, Miami Florida experienced the Golden Rule International Culture of Honor. CELA University President, Gabriel Nester Kost, was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador of the Golden Rule International. His university achievements with the International Police Chaplaincy Program, that reaches the entire Central and South American continents, has been found worthy of this honor. His life and this achievement exemplify the Golden Rule, “Treat other the way you want to be treated.”

GOLDEN RULE AWARD INTERNATIONAL EVENT AT THE GERALD R. FORD PRESIDENTAL LIBRARY

In Grand Rapids Michigan at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library in August 2015, Golden Rule Award International and iChange Nations presented Golden Rule Awards to several outstanding recipients. The Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” is an award presented to those whose lives have exemplified this motto. There were several nations represented and once again a global community of peace and honor  is established.

WORLD PEACE AMBASSADOR AND INTERNATIONAL PROFESSOR CHALLENGES YOUTH OF SAN ANDRES COLOMBIA SOUTH AMERICA

At the Youth Empowerment Conference – HEY, on San Andres Island Colombia in July of 2015, Ambassador Professor Donella Pitzl addressed the youth with the challenge of becoming life long learners. She spoke of taking advantage of every opportunity along the path of life to gain education. Professor Pitzl said, “Education opens doors for you to change the world.”

Professor Donella Pitzl is a Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador and represents the Golden Rule, "Treat others the way you want to be treated," around the world. She is also Chancellor of International Operations for United Graduate College and Seminary International working online education globally. She commented, “Online education can be very challenging in nations with poor Internet services but I have some of the greatest students, dedicated to completing their studies regardless of the challenges. These students are changing their world through their education experience and through their determination. That was my challenge to the youth of San Andres – keep learning – it will open doors for advancement in life. See the greatness in each other and take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way.”

UGCSI offers ministry training and ministry degrees through e-learning programs globally. The organization provides tools for Christian around the world seeking higher education.
